En Mayo del año 2000, tras comprobar que todos nuestros aparatos seguían funcionando publique mi primer articulo en una revista, tampoco es que me dedique a ello, pero fue mi primera experiencia con una editorial y estoy orgulloso de ese articulo que tanto gusto en su día. La revista en cuestión era anual (nos lo pensábamos todo muy bien )y la hacíamos alumnos del IES San Isidoro de CARTAGENA, ya sabéis, la típica revista del insti. En este articulo me centré en explicar como fueron los comienzos del hiphop en EEUU y en España a grandes rasgos y como curiosidad, no os perdáis la lista de artistas que para mi componian la escena española en ese momento.
MI PRIMER GRAFFITI.
Si mal no recuerdo, fue allá por el año 1997 cuando me decidí a dejar de garabatear las paredes con una firma y hacerlo a lo grande destacando mis letras con el tresdé que tanto había practicado en bocetos.
Ya en esa época había escritores en mi ciudad que tenian mucha calidad, yo solo era un principiante. Firmaba KUNOR ¿quien era KUNOR? Nadie, una firma muy fea que decidí cambiar por mi nombre artístico actual, PHONE, que en un principio fue el tag del que todos los agentes de policía de esa época se acordaran.
MI PRIMER CONTACTO CON LA INDUSTRIA.
Me refiero al día que conocí a Gorka del grupo Doshermanos, en ese momento, director de la revista TraposSucios y Anuario, además de ser uno de los productores mas prolificos con el ya desaparecido sello discografico ESTAOCHUNGO, con el que edite mis primeras referencias, los que trabajan o viven de la música saben quien es.
Una persona que además de ser un gran artista e idealista es alguien muy especial para mi del que he recibido un apoyo incondicional desde el primer momento, al igual que su hermano YOSU, desde aquí os doy gracias a los dos. Fue el viernes 23 de Mayo de 2003, en el HIPHOP ESENTIAL VIVES FESTIVAL de la sala Macumba de Madrid, yo ya conocía a YOSU porque le habia visto con anterioridad y teníamos contacto por correo postal pero no a su hermano.
